Sooooo…
Some extremely exciting news in the Scarlett household:
WE’RE BUYING A HOUSE!
Yes, I know, 21 and 22 years old and owning our own property? There’s no time like the present!
As exciting as this has all been, (and really, it’s been a lot to take in) that doesn’t mean that it’s been easy.
This housing market is INSANE right now. Our budget is not THAT great and when we’re in a time where homes are relatively cheap, people are able to buy houses with cash and well, cash talks. We’ve now put in offers on 3 homes. 2 of which we have lost and the other one we’re currently waiting to hear back from…hopefully by 5:00 tonight! It’s a short sale which means we probably wouldn’t be moving until the late summer (perfect weather in Vegas, right?) but whatever!! We have had so many blessings coming our way with this, it’s incredible! Things just keep getting more and more exciting in our marriage and I’m so happy I started this blog so I can remember it all step by step. 🙂
